Redesign an existing problematic package to improve overall function and aesthetic appeal.
I chose to repackage raw steak that is usually packaged within a grocery store meat department. The solution was to replace the non-ecofriendly Styrofoam trays with a recycled cardboard box lined with wax paper. I created an original die cut that would be easy for a butcher to assemble on location. The main goal of the new design is to guide the consumer to imagine the steak in its most appetizing form - on the grill.
